  • Bombay Hospital Professor Surgical Oncology M.Ch Teacher – Mumbai University, DNB Teacher, MCH & DNB examiner across India.
  • Principal investigator and co-investigator in multiple trials in Cancer Treatment in India and Abroad.
  • Teaching undergraduate and post graduate students General Surgery since 1979 till 1998.
  • Post Graduate Teacher Oncosurgery
  • Conducted / Attended many Social Service Camps and arranged free cancer detection camps, Breast Clinics, Educational Lectures for general public and medical practitioner all over India.
  • Founder secretary for Grameen Kark Rog Ujagar Yojna. (Rural Cancer Detection Program Conducting Camps all across India, Mainly Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra & Chattisgarh
  • Organised many Breast Cancer awareness programs for past ten years, with Rural Health Care workers

  • Varun Mahajan Fellowship to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, U.S.A. (Training in Laser Surgery and Lung Cancer Treatment) 1988.

  • International Society of Diseases of “Oesophagus Fellowship for training in Oesophageal Cancer Surgery, Kurume University, Fakuoka, Japan (Oct.-Dec. 1991). Pioneer in starting 3 field esophagectomy in India.
  • Since then from Jan. 1992 performed over 500, 3 field dissection (Japanese Technique) operation for Oesophageal Cancer with good results.
